Season of Lent

Lent is a sacred season which starts before the 40 days of Easter. This period is attach with the story of Jesus where he had been in desert being tempted by the devil for 40 days. With Lent coming people start preparing for Easter.

The first day of Lent is Ash Wednesday which comes after Mardi Gras. It is left opened and finalized until the end of Good Friday Services. This is one of the most special times in the church and everyone should make a point to participate in all three days. It is steeped in tradition and a great way to end the Lenten Season.
